Vision:

Women's Association Vukovar as a feminist, non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan civil society organization will become the institution for support and promotion of democratic values, it will participate in decision making processes on local, national and international level by influencing public politics and those involved in decision-making processes.

Mission:

Women's Association Vukovar is feminist, non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan civil society organization which through acting in the area of Vukovar-Srijem County participates in the processes of building and development of democratic society  with the aim of promoting the principles of equality, non-violence, transparency and socially responsible acting and behavior of all participants of the social processes in the field of human rights protection, social development, civil society development, and suppression of domestic violence, human trafficking and corruption.

 

We work on:

Suppression of domestic violence, SOS telephone, group and individual psychological support, legal aid, cooperation with institutions (police, social welfare centers, shelters for women), campaigns;

Suppression of trafficking in persons (women and children), member organization of PETRA Network, SOS telephone, cooperation with institutions (police, Office for Human Rights of the Government of Croatia, international institutions), campaigns, education of youth;

Suppression of corruption, member organization of BURA Network for suppression of corruption in the Republic of Croatia

Women’s Club, daily socializing, free press reading, organizing workshops.
