Becici, Montenegro – Conference “Outreach to achieve change” Two representatives of Women’s Association Vukovar participated in the international conference for civil society organizations engaged in protection of women’s human rights, held in Becici, Montenegro. The conference was organized by Swedish foundation Kvinna till Kvinna. The conference attended 140 representatives of various NGOs from Europe, Africa and Asia.

Becici, Montenegro – Conference “Outreach to achieve change” At the conference, their work, results and world trends in protection of women human rights, presented Ms. Sanam Anderlini from Iran, UN expert for gender, peace and security, Ms. Louis Brutus, Liberia, Liberian Ambassador in South African Republic, as well as eminent leaders of organizations active in Croatia, Albania, Serbia, Israel and Palestine. The participants had an opportunity to see the documentary films on Liberian women in peace process, and sexual violence against women in DR Congo.

During the three days of the conference the activists had the opportunity to establish new contacts, connect with similar organizations and talk about their experiences and advancements in the filed of gender equality and women’s rights.
