Training for associates engaged on SOS line for suppression of human trafficking 0800 77 99 After the meeting with institutions engaged in suppression of trafficking in persons, the new Women’s Association Vukovar associates on duty by the SOS line for suppression of human trafficking have gone through a training through which they received education necessary for quality work. At the training the associates received instructions on how to act in cases of receiving calls related to cases of trafficking, how and to whom pass the information and how to talk to persons who dial the SOS line number. The training was led by Djurdjica Kolarec, Program Manager for Suppression of Trafficking in Women of the Centre for Women War Victims ROSA, and Coordinator of PETRA Network. The training was organized as a part of activities of the project “Coordination of Anti-Trafficking Network Activities and Cross-Border Cooperation Between Anti-Trafficking Networks RING in Bosnia&Herzegovina and PETRA in Croatia”, supported by CARE International NWB, through which the coordinating organization provides technical assistance to other PETRA Network members, and project “Comprehensive Approach to Suppression of Violence against Women”, supported by OAK Foundation Switzerland. |
