 A representative of Women’s Association Vukovar participated in the PETRA Network meeting held on 27th and 28th of January 2010 in Zagreb. The meeting was organized by the coordinating organization Centre for Women War Victims ROSA. The meeting attended representatives of 6 member organizations and a representative of SDF Women’s Initiative.
The discussions of the first day were focused on S.O.S. Telephone – Call for Help of Virovitica leaving the Network and admittance of SDF Women’s Initiative as a new member of the Network. On the second day the meeting was focused on the joint report on implementation of the National and Operational anti-trafficking plan, for which the data is collected by the Office for Human Rights, and the official report by the Government on the results of anti-trafficking efforts in the Republic of Croatia. Besides that the participants discussed the incoming activities of the Network – training for judiciary, the incoming regional conference, anti-trafficking campaign, the next PETRA Network meeting and the regional multidisciplinary meeting that will cover five Slavonian counties. |
