 Women’s Association Vukovar organized a three-day meeting/seminar for institutions engaged in suppression of domestic violence in Vukovar-Srijem County. Besides representatives of Women’s Association Vukovar, seminar attended representatives of misdemeanor courts, municipal state attorney’s offices, police, centers for social welfare, County Commission for Gender Equality, safe house in Vukovar, and NGOs. The seminar attended Judge with High Misdemeanor Court in Zagreb, Ms. Branka Zigante Zivkovic, who introduced and explained changes and supplements in the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence. |

Center for Education Counseling and Research, CESI, of Zagreb and UNDP conducted a research on the position of women members of ethnic minorities at the labor market. The research, which took place in four Croatian cities including Vukovar, was conducted through focus groups at the premises of Women’s Association Vukovar. Women’s Association Vukovar helped CESI and UNDP gather employed and unemployed women of Serb ethnicity into two focus groups, within which the participants shared their experiences from the labor market in Vukovar. |

 Representatives of Women's Association Vukovar participated in a meeting with representatives of donor organization CARE International NWB of Sarajevo and partner organization Lara of Bijeljina. The meeting was organized with purpose of planning of work of networks for suppression of trafficking in persons RING – B&H and PETRA – Croatia. |

The topic of the workshop was ‘Team and team work’ The workshop, which included definitions of groups and teams as well as roles within teams, was led by Jasmina Šahović Žabka, Magister in adult education, associate and member of Women’s Association Vukovar. |
