 Within the frameworks of the three-year program supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports “Implementation of Prevention Program Against Sexual Violence in Schools”, the organization Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights of Zagreb, with the support of Women’s Association Vukovar, held four 90-minute workshops on “Prevention of Sexual Violence”. The workshops were organized in two secondary schools in Vukovar – Economy School and Technical school “Nikola Tesla”. |

 During March 2009 Women's Association Vukovar has for Association of Roma Women “Roma Heart“ of Jagodnjak held three workshops which covered the following topics: “Identity”, “Gender and Sex”, and “Human Rights and Combating Violence Against Women”. The first two workshops were held in the premises of “Roma Heart”, while the last one, visited by representatives of donor organization CARE International NWB of Sarajevo and Zagreb, at the premises of the Municipal Hall of the Municipality of Jagodnjak. The workshop leader was chairwomen of Women’s Association Vukovar, Marija Molnar. |

Women's Association Vukovar was visited by representatives of the organization Survivors Corps from Tuzla, Majda Ganibegović and Ramiz Bećirović. Organization Survivors Corps grew from Landmines Survivors Network and has expanded its mission to all survivors of war. With regards to the plans for expansion of mission and activities, Survivors Corps is conducting a field assessment with aim to design more comprehensive activities and seeking new partners. |

 Women's Association Vukovar was visited by representative of Ecumenical Women's Initiative of Omiš, Ms. Jelena Tafra, Program Manager. In 2008 Ecumenical Women's Initiative supported a project of Women’s Association Vukovar, which included organizing the first meeting of multidisciplinary team which gathered representatives of institutions in Vukovar-Srijem County whose missions include work on suppression of domestic violence. |
